“Today’s youth are so positive and so aware of the important stuff. They so woke.” – Saaleha Idrees Bamjee
Born in 1983 in the small town of Azaadville on Joburg’s West Rand, Saaleha now lives closer to the city’s engineered skylines working as a freelance writer, photographer and incidental designer. Khalil was stuck in JHB traffic again for this interview traveling thousands of miles…Ok not really thousands but you know what we mean…It was a pleasure officially meeting Saaleha and her talking about success, writing, photography and she also recited a couple of her poems…
She gave us tips on how to shoot a self-portrait and do a stop-motion video…
Enjoy this one! Feedback is our oxygen…
