“Learn the career before you start studying the career. Go and volunteer…” – Nkosikhona Uthmaan Mpungose
His grandmothers gave him the names of “Nkosikhona” meaning “God does exist” and “Uthmaan” the name of the 3rd Caliph of Islam. After growing up in a boarding school he pursued IT, to Engineering and then switched to the love of Social Services. Early on he realized the gaps and challenges our youth are faced with. (HIV and Drugs) – hence Youth Interactive was established.
Raised by a single parent he explains why our elders and teachers are important to us and how their experiences and wisdom shapes us into becoming who we are today and tomorrow.
