“Traveling humbles you so much that at the end of your journey you realize that we are all human beings on the very same journey and we are all ONE.” – Khairunnisa Khan
We have been really blessed and totally humbled to meet these 2 human beings (F&K). Farhaan and Khairunnisa’s sincere love and passion for traveling rubbed off on us as well. That travel bug! We struggled to edit this almost 2-hour conversation about their journey from Johannesburg to Jerusalem and beyond. This beautiful couple guided us through their 14-month road trip through Africa. From drinking amazing Ethiopian coffee for just R6.00 to seeing Christians praying just like Muslims. They found the interaction between the Sudanese women & men unique and very comforting.
Yes, they encountered a couple of tests and challenges, but that was dwarfed by a super inspiring Ramadaan and Eid in Palestine. No spoiler alerts…
Enjoy!
